- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 package active dry yeast
- 1/2 cup warm milk
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1 cup apple pie filling
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tbsp milk (for glaze)
- In a bowl, mix warm milk and yeast. Let it sit until foamy.
- In another bowl, combine flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon.
- Add melted butter and egg to the yeast mixture, then combine with dry ingredients.
- Knead the dough until smooth, then let it rise for 1 hour.
- Roll out the dough and spread apple pie filling over it.
- Roll the dough into a log and cut into slices.
- Place slices in a baking dish and let them rise for another 30 minutes.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
- Mix powdered sugar and milk to make the glaze, then drizzle over warm rolls.
