A delicious and comforting dish for the holiday season, featuring stuffed pasta shells with a savory filling of turkey bacon and chicken ham.

Ingredients

  • 20 large pasta shells
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup cooked, diced turkey bacon
  • 1 cup cooked, diced chicken ham
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1 jar (24 oz) marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the pasta shells according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, mozzarella cheese, turkey bacon, chicken ham, Parmesan cheese, garlic, Italian herbs, salt, and pepper.
  4. Stuff each pasta shell with the cheese and meat mixture.
  5. Spread some marinara sauce at the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Place the stuffed shells in the dish and cover with remaining marinara sauce.
  7. Drizzle with olive oil.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes until the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add fresh basil on top before serving.
  • This dish can be made ahead of time and refrigerated.
