1 package wonton wrappers
8 ounces cream cheese, softened
1 cup crab meat, shredded
1/4 cup green onions, chopped
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 teaspoon soy sauce
1 egg, beaten
Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
In a bowl, mix cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce, and soy sauce until well combined.
Place a spoonful of the crab mixture into the center of a wonton wrapper.
Wet the edges of the wrapper with the beaten egg and fold to seal.
Heat vegetable oil in a deep pot over medium heat.
Fry the wontons until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes on each side.
Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
Notes
For extra crunch, add sesame seeds to the filling.
These can be made ahead of time and frozen before frying.
