- 3 pounds pot roast
- 2 cups French onion soup
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 onions, sliced
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Season the pot roast with salt and pepper.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil and brown the roast on all sides.
- Add the sliced onions and garlic to the bottom of the slow cooker.
- Place the browned pot roast on top of the onions.
- In a bowl, mix French onion soup, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, and thyme; pour over the roast.
