Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 300°F (150°C).
  2. In a bowl, combine almond flour and powdered sugar. Sift the mixture to eliminate lumps.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk the egg whites until foamy, then gradually add granulated sugar and whisk until stiff peaks form.
  4. Gently fold the dry ingredients into the meringue until well incorporated.
  5. Add vanilla extract and food coloring, then pipe the batter onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Let the macarons rest for 30-60 minutes until they form a skin.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes, then remove from the oven and allow to cool.
  8. Sandwich two shells together with your favorite filling.
