Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons instant yeast
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add salt, olive oil, and flour. Mix until a dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
  4. Place the dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and let rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
  5. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  6. Punch down the dough, then spread it into a greased baking pan.
  7. Top with garlic, Parmesan, and rosemary. Let it rise again for 20 minutes.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
