Mac and Cheese Meatloaf Casserole: The Ultimate Comfort Food Mashup

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup macaroni
  • 2 cups shredded cheese
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground beef, chopped onion, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. In another pot, cook macaroni according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
  4. In a saucepan, heat milk and mix in shredded cheese until melted.
  5. Combine cooked macaroni with cheese sauce and mix well.
  6. Layer the meat mixture and macaroni cheese in a baking dish.
  7. Bake for 45 minutes or until the meatloaf is cooked through.

Notes

  • Let the casserole cool for a few minutes before serving.
  • Top with extra cheese if desired!
